Iadolina Waterfall
Iadolina Waterfall is situated in Hell Valley approximately 6 km from Coada Lacului Lesu, on the left side of the road as you go towards Stana de Vale resort. The beautiful waterfall is very popular with tourists.
Săritoarea Ieduțului Waterfall
Săritoarea Ieduțului Waterfall is within Hell Valley, it is roughly 9 km from Coada Lacului Lesu and 300 m downstream from the Vălul Miresei Waterfall. You can admire the 15 m height cascading waterfall for its picturesque wild beauty.
Miss Waterfall
Miss Waterfall is situated on Hell Valley and is roughly 11 km from Coada Lacului Lesu. The trail that leads to the waterfall looks like a jungle landscape and is very spectacular. A thin stream of water falls over two cliffs, forming two waterfalls of 10 meters hight.
Vălul Miresei Waterfall
Vălul Miresei is a two cliff waterfall situated within Hell Valley and 10 km from Coada Lacului Leșu. It has an approximate height of 50 m.
Moara Dracului Waterfall
Situated on Draganului Valley, in proximity of Stana de Vale, the waterfall which is approximately 20 meters high, flows over an impressive wall of volcanic rock. The path that leads to the waterfall is quite wild with a rocky landscape that is reminiscent of the Retezat Mountains.
Meziad Cave
Meziad Cave is located on Meziad Valley, in the south eastern region of Padurea Craiului Mountains. It has a total length of 4750 m with a guided tour available for the first 500 m of the cave. There is a 3 hour (approximate) touristic trail walk from Coada Lacului Lesu to Meziad Cave.
Fața Apei Cave
The cave is located near Remeti village (roughly 15 km from Coada Lacului Lesu), at the base of a limestone wall. It is a small cave (350 m length). During the cold season, beautiful ice stalagmites and stalactites are formed in the entrance region. The cave can be visited without special caving equipment.
Ponorul din Lunca Acră
Ponorul din Lunca Acră is situated in a karst basin which is crossed by a stream which disappears underground in the Biserica de la Acre Cave. The single entrance cave can be explored for the first 15 meters. Vegetation in the area is very interesting, with many junipers and coniferous that aren’t common for this mountain region.
